Junior Web Designer

Idea is currently accepting resumes for junior web designers (part or full) in the Western Suburbs/Chicago area.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in creative brainstorming
• Maintain high standards of established creative strategy
• Participate in creating mock-ups
• Assist in building web sites

Preferred Candidate Background and Expertise:

• Software proficiency: Adobe CS3 (or 4) - Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver
• Knowledge of Flash
• Knowledge of UI/UX design
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML
• Excellent understanding of composition, page layout and typography
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow directions and established styles
• Must be able to take constructive design feedback
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize
• Highly organized, accurate and detail oriented
• Great communication skills
• Copy-editing skills a big plus
